Second suspect arrested in connection to deadly Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Another man has been arrested following a deadly shooting in Wilmington last week.

On March 11, the Wilmington Police Department said officers responded around 2:50 p.m. to a ShotSpotter alert at Sixth and Nixon streets, where they found Oarmonz Dikal Days in critical condition. He was taken to NHRMC but was pronounced dead.

A Wilmington Police spokeswoman said Joseph Point, 30, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Task Force in Wilmington today. He is charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Accessory After the Fact and is being held without bond.

Adrian Point, 29, was also arrested in connection to the deadly shooting.

WPD said Adrian and Joseph are brothers. The investigation is ongoing.
