Second water outage scheduled for area near downtown

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A spokesman with the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority announced a second outage scheduled for an area near Downtown Wilmington this week.

Mike McGill said on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. about 105 residential customers will be affected by the outage. A Boil Water Advisory will follow the outage.

The area affected includes the following parts of the area:

• Market Street: 600 & 700 blocks
• Princess Street: 500 through 800 blocks
• Chestnut Street: 700 & 800 blocks
• North 6th and 7th streets: From Market to Princess Street

North 9th Street: From Market to Grace Street
