Shallotte man charged with sex crimes with mentally disabled victim

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Shallotte man faces nearly two dozen sex crime charges involving an alleged victim who was mentally disabled.

Thomas Nicholas Tribble, 49, is in jail under $1 million bond.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested Tribble Friday on warrants for 22 counts of felony second-degree sexual offense. The warrants say the alleged crimes happened between May 1, 2014, and March 31, 2015.
