Shallotte Police investigating string of recent house, vehicle break-ins

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — The Shallotte Police Department is investigating a string of recent break ins in the Wildwood Village neighborhood.

The crimes took place late on June 2nd through early June 3rd, according to the Department.

Police say multiple houses, sheds, and vehicles were broken into and items were stolen. They say the suspects on video appear to be teenagers and are described as four males.

Witnesses in the neighborhood said there is possibly a female teenager driving the vehicle which is on video and appears to be a darker colored mid size SUV or crossover. The four male suspects are all wearing long sleeves, hoodies and what appears to be face masks, according to police.
