Shallotte Police is asking for help with looking for armed robbery suspect

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — Shallotte Police is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

According to SPD, around 3:08 a.m. Tuesday morning, a man entered the Scotchman Store on Whiteville Rd with a firearm pointed at the clerk demanding cash. The clerk complied and was not injured. The suspect fled into a gray 4 door passenger car.
