Sharks host doubleheader Saturday after another rainout

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The weather has not cooperated with the Wilmington Sharks much lately, including a rainout last night at the Shark Tank.

Saturday’s scheduled game against Peninsula will now be a doubleheader to make up for a game scheduled June 17 in Hampton, VA, that was washed out.

Game 1 will begin at 5 p.m., with Game 2 beginning about 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.

Gates open at 4 p.m. The first 500 fans get a free slap bracelet as part of the team’s 20th anniversary celebration.
