Shearin scores twice as Coastal Christian beats Cape Fear Academy 2-1

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – A big soccer match between local clubs went the way of the Centurions as Coastal Christian picked up a 2-1 road win against Cape Fear Academy on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes wasted no time as Priya Belle opened the scoring not even three minutes into the game.

Not long after, M.C. Shearin blasted a free kick into the top corner to even the scoring. Shearin would score what would be the game winner soon after from around the exact same spot after CFA cleared the ball out of the box.

All three goals in the match occurred in the first seven minutes.
