Sheriff’s Office cannot substantiate claims a woman was stabbed

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A New Hanover County Sheriff’s spokesperson said detectives were not able to substantiate that a male subject had broken into a home or stabbed a female victim during an investigation at Dunbar Road.

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office said they have full confidence that the neighborhood and surrounding areas are safe.
