Sheriff’s Office: Person rams into back of vehicle, fires shots at rear tire in Columbus County

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A driver in Columbus County recently experienced a scary situation on the road.

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office says a known suspect rammed into the back of the victim’s car and fired shots at her rear tire.

The incident took place Wednesday evening on Farm Lane in Whiteville.

No injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
