Sheriff’s Office searching for 2 men after Sunday morning stabbing

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating a stabbing that occurred at 7219 Market Street around  12:40 a.m. Sunday morning.

Officials say 2 male victims were leaving the business and got involved in an altercation with another man in the parking lot. They say the suspect then stabbed both victims and fled the scene with a second suspect in a vehicle. Deputies say the men fled in a compact Mazda SUV that is light blue or light gray in color.

The two victims were transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center where they were treated and released for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials say one suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a short, stocky build, wearing a light colored shirt and shorts. The other is a white male, tall and thin, with a pony-tail, wearing a t-shirt and shorts.
