Shooting during party sends two to hospital

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — An early-morning shooting in Brunswick County sent two people to the hospital.

Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Emily Flax says it happened at a party or card game around 1 a.m. at a home at 2850 Brown Street in Bolivia.

According to incident reports, the victims are Fredrick Williams Jr, 34, and Terrance Laquinn Jones, 40. Flax says both men were taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. There’s no word on their condition.

Flax says the shooting is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
