Shots Fired in Wilmington, WPD Investigating

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) —  Around 1:25 Sunday Afternoon, Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1000 Block of South 7th Street. Once there they found shell casings. A person had suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident and was able to take themselves to the hospital to receive treatment.

Wilmington Police are still searching for more details about the shooting.
