Shots fired into multiple homes in Columbus County

TABOR CITY, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of multiple homes being struck by gunfire in Tabor City.

According to the sheriffs office, a witness called deputies on November 18th around 10:45 p.m. and reported that several houses across the street at the 3900 block of Wright Road had been shot during a drive-by incident.

When deputies arrived, the witness showed them new bullet holes in three homes and a shed, including recovering bullets inside two homes.

No injuries were reported, and the case is under investigation.
