Smoky conditions possible this week as crews conduct land clearing burn
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Some New Hanover County residents may experience smoky conditions this week.
People living around the Monkey Junction/Myrtle Grove area, specifically in the vicinity of Piner Road and Kings Highway, may see the most smoke due to a land clearing burn.
New Hanover County Fire Rescue is monitoring the burn site and no action is needed, according to officials.
