Snow’s Cut Bridge jumper found; has no injuries


CAROLINA BEACH, NC — The person that jumped from the Snow’s Cut Bridge has been located and is fine with no injuries, said Carolina Beach Police Department Detective Scott Hettinger.

A passerby called 911 at 12:06 p.m. Sunday and indicated a man was seen jumping from the bridge that leads onto Carolina Beach.

Hettinger said the investigation is ongoing and no other information is available at this time.

Five agencies took part in a five-hour search of the rapidly moving waters that lead to the ocean.
