BOILING SPRING LAKES, N.C. (WWAY) — After losing to their county rivals earlier in the season, South Brunswick boys basketball evened the season series by knocking off West Brunswick 65-54 on Wednesday.

Both teams wanted to show their strength and did just that as South’s Edward Young and West’s K’Veon Griffin each had slam dunks in the 1st quarter. Griffin led the Trojans with 19 points.

However, Jayden Daniels put up 30 for the Cougars and got the home fans to leave with a smile on their faces.
