South Carolina man arrested and charged with six counts of attempted murder in Brunswick County

LONGWOOD, NC (WWAY) — A South Carolina man was arrested and charged with multiple counts of first-degree murder following an alleged shooting in Brunswick County.

18-year-old Saivon Gore of Little River was arrested Friday and is charged with six counts of attempted first degree murder from an incident that occurred at a home in May in Longwood according to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.

The victims ages range from 9 to 76 years old.

18-year-old Kevante Dozier of Little River was arrested back in October for the same incident.

Dozier is charged with six counts of attempted first degree murder and one count of larceny of motor vehicle.

The incident report says on May 16, 2025, the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shots fired call shortly after midnight.

Gore appeared in Brunswick County court on Tuesday. His probable cause hearing is set for February 5th.
