Southeastern Community College Honors Gary Nealy with Fall 2025 Faculty/Instructional Staff Meritorious Service Award

Whiteville, NC (WWAY) — Southeastern Community College recognized Gary Nealy, a chemistry instructor, as the recipient of the Fall 2025 Faculty/Instructional Staff Meritorious Service Award during a campus ceremony that honors excellence in teaching and service.
The award celebrates instructors who show dedication to students, commitment to the mission, and instructional excellence.
Nealy is known for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and inspired to succeed.
Nealy has gone above and beyond in his role as an instructor and often spends evenings and weekends on campus preparing labs and hands-on experiments for his students.
