Southeastern Community College invites public to annual spring fundraiser

WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — The Southeastern Community College Foundation’s “Rams Rock the Yacht” annual spring fundraiser will take place at the end of March.

The event will be at the Union Valley Farm and Vineyard on March 21st at 7 p.m.

“With this being our biggest fundraiser of the year, everyone’s support will contribute to the college’s area of greatest need,” SCC Foundation Executive Director Terrie Priest said. “Whether it’s supporting student outreach, scholarships, a campus program, our mini grant program, creating a new program or supporting athletics, this is the one fundraiser that touches the entire campus.” 

There will be Yacht Rock favorites by Camel City Yacht Club and a cocktail dinner buffet.

New to this year’s fundraiser is a $5,000 grand prize reverse raffle. If you can’t make it to the event, you can still purchase a ticket for the reverse raffle for $75. There will also be a silent auction at the event.

The base level single ticket admission price is $50, and a base level couples’ ticket is $100. Admission tickets that include one reverse raffle ticket for a single is $125 and couple is $175.   

All proceeds go to the RamsFund.
