Southport Police searching for missing man after finding his vehicle abandoned

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — The Southport Police Department is searching for a missing man last seen on Valentine’s Day.

Lucimario Paulo Da Silva, 51, left Southport around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in his truck.

Police found his truck abandoned on the side of the road in the 5300 block of River Rd SE in Winnabow.

Silva was last seen wearing dark blue jeans and a white shirt.
