Southport Springfest 2025: 200 Vendors in downtown Southport
SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — The streets of downtown Southport filled with people on Saturday as Springfest made its return after a one-year break.
Stretching from East Bay Street to Nash Street, the festival featured close to 200 vendors offering a mix of handmade crafts, food, and more. Live music performances ran throughout the day, with the event open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The festival first began in the 1990s and has become a staple springtime tradition for the city.
Among the many returning vendors was Jerry Edwards, running a lemonade stand for the second year in a row. Edwards says what makes Southport’s event different is the attention to craftsmanship.
“There’s a lot of stuff out here and out here y’all it’s different because things are made with their hands, they painted, everything is like done with love,” said Edwards.
