Special Olympics New Hanover County looking for volunteers

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Special Olympics NHC is looking for 250 volunteers for this years Fall Games.

From bocce to soccer, dancing to football throws, these two days are full of fun, inclusive events designed to celebrate every athlete’s abilities. Whether you’re helping with setup, working a station, or cheering from the sidelines, there’s a role for you.

There are two volunteer dates:
Oct. 17 – School-age & adult athletes (shifts run 7am-1pm) Sign up here.
