Brunswick high schools approved for new artificial turf fields

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (StarNews) — Board of Commissioners approved a proposal Monday night to spend $2.29 million on new fields.

The Brunswick County high school athletic facilities are about to get a serious face lift.

The Board of Commissioners approved a proposal to spend $2.29 million to install artificial turf at the three high school stadiums. This proposal was unanimously supported by the county’s three athletic directors.
