RALEIGH, NC (AP) — The state Court of Appeals has reversed the conviction of a woman who masterminded a plan to break public water lines so her company could repair them, saying the state used the wrong legal theory to convict her.

A three-judge panel said today prosecutors wrongly relied on the theory of acting in concert to convict Judy Hardison.
