Stevenson Honda kicks off Toys for Tots pick up

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It is just about time for the season of giving and Stevenson Honda is kicking it off with Toys for Tots.

For more than 20 years, General Manager Pat Koballa said they have collected gifts for the Marines to pick up and give to children in need. Koballa wants to fill up one of their vans with toys, but he said he wants to fill it up more than once.

He said it is all about making this time of year special for everyone.

“Just imagine, imagine a child not having something on Christmas morning,” Koballa said. “I mean put yourself in their shoes. We have drop off locations at all five Stephenson locations and there are certainly a lot of other community partners that provide drop off locations as well.”

Koballa said it starts now and will continue until December 18th when the Marines will come and pick all of the toys up.
