STORMTRACK 3: “Matthew” headed for landfall in Caribbean, “Lisa” still hanging around
Tropical Storm Matthew formed Thursday afternoon in the Caribbean Sea and has wasted no time heading towards land. The system is on track to make a landfall in Central America late Friday and then will meander northward over the coming days. Whether or not it re-emerges over water and develops into a stronger system is a tough call at this point.
"Lisa" continues to remain weak near the Cape Verde Islands. The storm is not an immediate threat to any land mass.
