SUNSET BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The town of Sunset Beach is asking for community input regarding the NC 904 Corridor.

The town is working with Grand Strand Area Transportation Study (GSATS), North Carolina Department of Transportation and Brunswick County on a comprehensive study to improve traffic, safety, walking & biking amenities, and long-term growth along this critical route.

NC 904 is nearing capacity due to seasonal surges in population and ongoing development says the town.

Community members are encouraged to take a few minutes to complete the survey asking what improvements they would like to see to ensure safety for all.

According to the website, a final plan will be presented to Sunset Beach Town Council and the GSATS Transportation Advisory Committee once the study is complete.

Visit GSATS Sunset Beach NC 904 Corridor Study – Town of Sunset Beach, NC to learn more and take the survey.
