Suspected ‘school bus flasher’ makes first court appearance
JACKSONVILLE, NC (WCTI) — Justin Abbott, the Marine arrested and accused of exposing himself to school children who were on a Dixon High School bus last week, made his first court appearance on Wednesday.
NewsChannel 12 reporter Jessica Albert was in the Onslow County courthouse when Abbott made his appearance. Abbott was escorted by military police into the courtroom to see a judge.
Abbott has been in a military brig aboard Camp Lejeune since he was arrested and released into military confinement on Friday. That led to miscommunication between the base and the courthouse where courthouse officials did not know Abbott was sent to the brig.
