Tap Tea Bar in downtown Wilmington adds late night ramen bar
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Late night foodies can rejoice, because there’s a new option in downtown Wilmington.
Tap Tea Bar added do-it-yourself ramen bar at all locations last week. Their downtown Wilmington location will also now be open until 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The ramen comes in at $7.50 for a bowl. You can choose from more than 28 different brands and flavors of ramen, with toppings like dried seafood, onions, seaweed, chili oil, and sriracha to name a few. You can also choose Premium toppings like hard boiled eggs, spam or cheese.
Owner of Tap Tea Bar Dynh Le says he wanted to give people another option for a late-night snack.
“I noticed that there’s not a lot of late-night eating for our downtown area. Everything closes like 11, I think The Husk is the latest one at like 12 o’clock. Then after that is pizza and hot dogs. So, I figure, why not give downtown another option,” Le said.
Le adds gluten free and vegan ramen options are also available.
