Taste of tradition: St. Stan’s annual Polish Festival
CASTLE HAYNE, NC (WWAY) — On Saturday, the community in Castle Hayne gathered for St. Stanislaus’s annual Polish Festival, a celebration of Polish culture and cuisine.
The event featured a full-size authentic Blaskapelle band, delighting attendees with traditional music.
Guests enjoyed Polish beer specially crafted for the festival, along with an abundance of delicious food. Best of all, the event was free to the public, allowing everyone to come together and celebrate.
Many festival-goers, like Michael Dabrowski, return year after year. “My wife and I live in Myrtle Beach. This is the closest Polish Fest in the area. It is amazing how many people this church gets, how many people show up here to have a good time and show their heritage. It’s awesome; it’s something we forget about nowadays, and I am really enjoying it—it’s a great time!”
