Teacher of the Week: Alley Collins

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Hoggard High School Drama teacher Alley Collins knows that the lessons in her class take her students far from the stage.

As she teaches the intracicies of life on the stage she also makes sure they are learning to be their own person and to live with their own convictions.

A passionate Thespian, our Teacher of the Week  also finds time to advise the Hoggard Gay-Straight Alliance and help plan the prom.

While she is happy to help she says her students really lead the way and make the decisions for the clubs.

When her students leave her class she wants them to remember to “not compromise your morals, your standards and who you are.”
