Two charged in shooting, stabbing of Wilmington man


JACKSONVILLE, NC (WWAY/WCTI) — Two men wanted in connection with a Sunday shooting and stabbing of a Wilmington man surrendered Tuesday.

Jacksonville Police responded to the 100 block of Liberty Drive Sunday afternoon. They found a vehicle in the ditch and a man, Trevall Antonio Brown, 27 of Wilmington, with the gunshot and stab wounds. He was transported to Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, treated for his injuries and later released.

Officers say Marquis Larico Hodges, Jr, 20, and Kevin Ty Jamall Travis, 18, turned themselves into police Tuesday. Both are charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury.

They are being held at the Onslow County Jail. Hodges is under a $125,000 bond and Travis was placed under a $150,000 bond.
