Teen pleads guilty in truck rollover death

BOLIVIA, NC (StarNews) — A Supply teen pleaded guilty Wednesday in a September rollover wreck in which one teen was killed and seven others injured.

Joshua Coleman, 18, entered guilty pleas to charges of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, driving left of center and failure to comply with license restrictions in Brunswick County Superior Court.

Judge Jerry Jolly sentenced Coleman to 60 days suspended jail time, five years probation, 48 hours of community service and 12 hours of speaking to the Street Safe program. Coleman must pay $10,371 in restitution, which was the cost of the funeral for the person killed.
