Temperatures return for Monday

(WWAY) — Another hot day today as temperatures return into the middle 90s.

A cold front moves through later this morning keeping our dewpoints lower than this past weekend for this afternoon. Look for isolated showers and thunderstorms today and Tuesday. One more hot day today with highs reaching the mid 90s. Tuesday will bring some relief with highs dropping back into the upper 80s. Next Wednesday brings a continued chance of showers or thunderstorms and highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Heat along with increasing rain chances build in on Friday.

Today: Sunshine and clouds with isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Hot and humid high in the low 90s.

Tuesday: A few afternoon showers. Warm high in the upper 80s.

Wednesday: Continued hot and humid with sunshine and scattered clouds. Hit or miss afternoon showers or thunderstorms are possible. High in the lower to mid 90s.
