Thanksgiving events happening around the Cape Fear
CAPE FEAR, NC (WWAY) — With Thanksgiving nearing many places are offering meals and events for the community.
New Hanover County:
- On November 20th from 11am – 1 pm, the City of Wilmington will host their Thanksgiving Senior Luncheon
- On November 22nd from 11:30am – 2:30pm St. Mark’s Episcopal Church provides free meal to community members
- On November 26-27th at noon Myrtle Grove Presbyterian will hold their Thanksgiving Project where they hope to deliver 1500 meals
- On November 29th from 12pm – 4pm, the SkyWatch Birds Rescue will host their supply drive and fundraiser
Brunswick County:
- On November 27th runners can race up for the 10th annual Calabash Turkey Trot
