The Battleship North Carolina closes ahead of winter weather

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — The Battleship North Carolina closed on Saturday, January 31, and will remain closed through Sunday, February 1, due to hazardous winter weather conditions.

All public tours, programs, and events scheduled during this period are suspended.

This temporary closure will ensure the safety of visitors, staff, and the historic WWII-era Battleship.

Updates on operating hours will be shared on the Battleship’s website and official social media as conditions develop.
