The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation welcomes new bomb squad robot
NORTH CAROLINA (WWAY) — The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Bomb Squad has a new robot joining their team.
Meet Carolina, a robot from Boston Dynamics.
Representatives from Boston Dynamics visited the SBI Headquarters Tuesday to demonstrate their newest robot, which can climb steps, open doors, and maneuver over rough terrain. It can also drag over 125 pounds.
According to their Facebook, it costs more than $250,000.
