OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) —  The Oak Island Sea Turtle Protection Program is celebrating its 36th year of sea turtle conservation with 36 hidden sea turtle rocks all over the island for beach-goers to find and keep.

They have also hidden one golden rock with their logo on it. If you find this rock, you can contact the group and win a gift.

If you find any of the painted rocks, the group would love for you to snap a photo and send it to them so they can share it on social media.
