WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A non-profit will host a pop-up clinic in Wilmington to provide veterinary care for pets of people experiencing homelessness.

The Street Dog Coalition says they’re offering free services like physical exams, core vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter vouchers, and pet food/supplies if available.

There is a limit of 3 pets per family, and dogs must be on a leash, and cats must be in a carrier.

The clinic will run from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at The Rescue Mission of Cape Fear, 502 Castle Street on Saturday.
