The Warming Shelter ILM is set to open on Sunday
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– The coldest night of the season so far, in Wilmington, will occur on Sunday, and a local organization is ready to open its arms. The Warming Shelter ILM is a non-profit organization that helps the homeless community during the coldest days in Wilmington
On Sunday, the organization will open two locations for people to warm up, one at 920 Sixth Street, and the other at 401 Grace Street. People who need a place to keep warm will be able to check in at 5 PM, on Sunday. They can check out at 9 AM on Tuesday. The organization is still accepting donations like coffee, sleeping bags, clothes, and backpacks.
