WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington police have arrested three more suspects involved in a shooting that happened last month in the 300 block of South Turners Run.

A 16-year-old has now been charged with felony accessory after the fact to discharge a firearm into an occupied dwelling, accessory after the fact to discharge a firearm from an enclosure, possession of a concealed handgun, minor in possession of a handgun, and possession of a stolen firearm.

A 17-year-old is facing multiple felony charges, including accessory after the fact to assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharge of a firearm from within an enclosure to incite fear, discharge into an occupied dwelling, and additional firearm-related charges.

The third suspect, also 16 years old, is charged with felony discharge of a firearm from within an enclosure to incite fear, felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and several firearms violations, including possession of a stolen weapon.

Police said the first two juveniles are being held without bond. The third is being held on a $500,000 secured bond.

The shooting took place on June 12, when officers patrolling the Creekwood community heard gunfire. A ShotSpotter alert confirmed the shots came from the 700 block of Emory Street and the 300 block of South Turners Run.

Police detained multiple people near the scene and recovered a stolen handgun that had been discarded nearby. Detectives later executed a search warrant at an apartment on South Turners Run, seizing six handguns and an AR-14 style pistol. Three of the eight firearms recovered during the investigation had been reported stolen, police said.

18-year-old Cam’ron Randolph Williams of Wilmington was previously arrested on felony drug charges related to the case. He received a $20,000 secured bond.
