Three people arrested on drug charges in Bladen County

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Three people have been arrested on drug charges.
The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on NC-87 West just outside of Tar Heel late last month. K9 Arco was deployed and alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The driver Christopher Nathaniel Pone was charged with Simple Possession of Schedule VI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and served with warrants for Trafficking Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Vehicle for keeping Controlled Substance. He was given a $1,002,000 secured bond.
Samuel Darell Melvin was arrested for Assault on a Government Official, RDO(Resist, Delay, Obstruct), Trafficking Cocaine, Possess Controlled substance on Jail Premises. He was given a $500,000.00 secured bond.
Aundre Devon Lacey was also arrested for being a wanted fugitive out of Virginia for possession of dangerous drugs. He was charged with simple possession of Schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a $501,000 secured bond.
