Three people arrested, one person wanted in connection to fentanyl pill distribution investigation

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Three people have been arrested and one person is still wanted in connection to a fentanyl pill distribution investigation.

The Burgaw Police Department and Pender County Sheriff’s Office recently concluded a comprehensive narcotics investigation that began in August of 2023, targeting the illegal distribution of fentanyl pills within the community.

The suspects, as follows, have been arrested, charged, appeared in front of a Pender County Magistrate, and have been given a bond for the illegal possession, manufacturing, and distribution of fentanyl pills, according to a press release.

Rashawn Armir Jackson, 40,  was arrested on Wednesday and charged with Conspire to Traffick Opium/Heroin, Trafficking Opium/Heroin (4 counts), Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Schedule I Controlled Substance, Resisting Public Officer and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Jackson was given a $1.05 Million Secured Bond.

Kyeshia Rena Lewis, 19, was arrested and charged with Conspire to Traffick Opium/Heroin and Maintain Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substance.

Lewis was given a $100,000 Secured Bond.

Antonio Caron Murray was arrested Thursday and charged with Possession With Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Schedule I Controlled Substance (2 counts), Sell and Deliver Schedule I Controlled Substance (4 counts), Manufacture Schedule I Controlled Substance (2 counts), Conspire to Traffick Opium/Heroin, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Simple Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and Order For Arrest for Driving While License Revoked (DWLR).

Murray was given a $1 Million Secured Bond

Kevin Paul Dash Jr., has not been charged and is wanted for Conspire to Sell Schedule I Controlled Substance, Trafficking Opium/Heroin (2 counts), Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance (2 counts), Manufacture Sell and Deliver Controlled Substance within 1,000ft of a School/Daycare Facility and Possess Drug Paraphernalia.
