Tim Pope to step down at Union High after 29 years


SAMPSON COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Tim Pope has decided to step down after 29 years at Union High School. Pope has served as the school’s athletics director the last five years. He has served as the boys basketball coach for the last 23 years at Union.

Keagan Warren will replace Pope as Union’s boys basketball head coach. Warren has been Pope’s main assistant the last two seasons.
