Time is running out to vote early
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — If you have not hit the polls for early voting, time is running out.
Early voting across the state ends at 1 p.m. Saturday.
If you can’t make it tomorrow you have to wait for the primary election which is Tuesday.
Winners in the primary will then face off against each other in the general election which is November 6.
Here’s a quick look at area polling places for the primary:
Brunswick:
- Belville Town Hall
- Board of Elections, Bolivia
- National Guard Armory in Shallotte
- The Brunswick Center at Southport
- South Brunswick Islands Center in Carolina Shores
Each one stop location will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
New Hanover:
- Government Center, Board of Elections
- Senior Resources Center
- CFCC Health Sciences Building
- NE Regional Library, Military Cutoff Road
- Carolina Beach Town Hall

Pender:
- County Annex in Hampstead
- Board of Elections in Burgaw

Bladen:
- Bladen Public Library in Elizabethtown
- East Arcadia
- Dublin
- Boost the Boro Room, Bladenboro

Columbus:
- Board of Elections in Whiteville
- Chadbourn Municipal Annex
- Bolton Town Hall
- Tabor City Court house
Early voting in Columbus begins at the Board of Elections until April 25. That’s when the other three locations will open to voters until May 5.
All early voting locations will close after May 5.
Proof of residency, which may include photo ID or other documentation, is required to register during the early voting period.
