Tip line faulty; CB Police still looking for information

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Carolina Beach Police are asking for your help to get information on an assault in front of a McDonald’s on Lake Park Blvd. last month.

Detectives say they have not gotten any tips about case. They believe it may have something to do with a faulty tip line though.

45-year-old Roderick Brooks Savage was assaulted after he got a ride through the drive-thru at the restaurant. A reward is being offered for anyone who can help police find the two people responsible.
