Topps Selects Walker Jenkins for 2024 Pro Debut Cards

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — South Brunswick High School standout, Walker Jenkins, has been selected as the official cover athlete of the 2024 Topps Pro Debut baseball card set.

Jenkins was drafted 5th overall in the 2023 MLB draft by the Minnesota Twins straight out of high school.

While playing for the cougars, the outfielder won back-to-back Gatorade Player of the Year awards his junior and senior year.

So far in Jenkins young professional career, through 58 games, he has 5 home runs, 50 RBI’s, and a .323 batting average.
