Topsail High bus broken into during football game at Hoggard

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a bus for the Topsail High School football team was robbed during a game Friday at Hoggard High School.

A coach told deputies working the game that someone broke into the bus and stole electronics, including cell phones, that belonged to players, according to a Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

No word on how many devices were stolen.
