Topsail Pirates forced to play a decisive game 3 on Saturday

WENDELL, NC (WWAY) — Topsail High only needed to win the game on Friday against Corinth Holders High School to advance to the 3-A state championship baseball series next week, but Corinth Holders was able to hold the Pirates 2-1. The best of three eastern championship series is now tied at one game apiece. Game three will be played at 11am on Saturday in Hampstead. Game time has been been pushed up due to the weather forecast.
