Touch-a-Truck brings in $17,000
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – A change in location meant the biggest year ever for this year’s Touch-a-Truck event.
The Junior League of Wilmington says it raised more than $17,000 dollars thanks to the 3,000 people who attended the event. Touch-a-Truck was held in April at Independence mall, a new location for the event this year.
More than 60 vehicles, including police, fire and rescue trucks were there for children to explore.
